Vandalism is a problem on this campus- many of the oncampus housing locations (dorms) have weekly common area damage. Food is OK, but stay away from the Campus Center dining hall, and in general, its fairly easy to make friends. The one thing you should consider is that there really isn't too much to do off campus (or oncampus for that matter) on the weekends and at night. Almost weekly, my friends and I have trouble determinging what to do, becuase there is little of interest to us in the community. Oh yeah, parking is strictly enforced too. The study abroad program is well worth while, and everyone who can do it, should- not only is it a nice break from Ithaca for a semeter, it opens up so many new perspectives.

The college is very good for those who want to be communication majors but the rest of the departments are not that good. I don't recommend the Business School. Other than that, it is a small town with 30 thousand people but it doubles since Cornell and Ithaca College is in the city. It is 4 hours from NYC. Winters are very cold and it usually snows for about 4 months.
