This is a big school with tons of opportunities to do well. The school is on the rise and is one of the best if not the best in the SUNY System. The campus is not breath taking, but very practical and easy to get around, some of the buildings are very nice inside. You will run into all types of people here, which is a good thing. Most people will find their niche and stick with them. There is plenty of stuff to do when going out at night. Acedemically UB is on the rise and is a great school to get a degree from.

Overall, the people are friendly, if you happen to talk to them. People don't seem too approachable. Many students come with like 20 friends, and seem to not need any new ones. Out of region people are a little left out of the dust. I certainly felt like it, NYC.If I had more friends here, and "knew" the regions better, I probably would like it more. The school is pretty good, but not for me. I'm definately transfering out.
