If you leave near Kent State, don't feelSuper BrilliantAnthropology
If you leave near Kent State, don't feel that it's especially BAD to go there. But by the same token, don't let yourself settle for going there just because it's nearby (and fairly easy to get accepted to). Take the time to do the actual "college search" thing i.e. go visit other campuses and such - even ones that are out of state (!). I'm just now doing this for grad school and it makes all the difference. Kent is a good school overall. Locals undervalue it and the magazine reviews are largely too generalized to give an accurate impression, as one might expect. I've enjoyed my years here. AND I'll enjoy leaving. Good luck, yo.

Question
I recommend that H.Business - Management and Administration
I recommend that H.S. students do not select their choice of colleges based upon magazine rankings. Most of these rankings are based upon past reputation or how many published articles the school generates. In other words, they give no consideration to how effective the school is at actually teaching its students. In addition, there is no way these rankings can judge how comfortable that you as an individual will be with the social climate for any given school.
