I absolutely love Kent State University.BrightEducation
I absolutely love Kent State University. I am not a local student and I received a full scholarship to Ohio State University. Visit the campus, take to a professor or a student. That really swayed my decision to come to here. Also, GET INVOLVED. People complain about Kent that there is nothing to do. There are a lot of campus organizations and so on always holding things on campus. The Education program here is top notch. You are in the field your second or third semester here. Many other programs including Miami of Ohio and Bowling Green can't say that.

Question
I believe Kent State did help me.Journalism
I believe Kent State did help me. A college degree is necessary to get the job you want these days and employers look for this first.

I was an advertising major but I switched careers and opted to try broadcast/film production after working in the ad agency world for almost 3 years.Even though this was not my major, I know my college degree helped me to get me where I am today.

Question
Looking back on two years at Kent, ISuper BrilliantJournalism
Looking back on two years at Kent, I can honestly say I can't believe I considered any other schools. I love the school, the students and most of all my program. Journalism at Kent State is everything I expected it to be and much better than I hoped. I have been given more chances and opportunities at Kent than I really thought I could be. By getting involved in on-campus organizations I believe I've made an impact. I can't speak for all programs, but if you're looking into journalism you should definitely look at Kent. We consistantly win national and regional awards for our student media, and the faculty here are all approachable and willing to go out of their way to help you. My experience at Kent has been great. I literally could have gone anywhere, but I chose Kent. And I have never regretted it.
