Positive Negative Neutral Advice
When I visited Cedar Crest,I wasn't really impressed.Bright
When I visited Cedar Crest,I wasn't really impressed. The campus wasn't all that and you would expect it to be much more outlandish for the amount of money you're paying them. Personally, I didn't see much diversity (culture wise) which was a turn off. The food is horrible, and there isn't much to choose from. The dorms are very small and there isn't much space. The surrounding city is bland and there isn't much to do. The campus is generally quiet.

I do like the flexibility they have with their degrees, and they have a sense of closeness and community with their professors. They promote student research as early as freshman year.Unfortunately, the 'closeness' and the promotion of undergraduate research could be found elsewhere, and the negatives outweigh the good. I wouldn't waste my time here if I were you, especially if you want a diverse campus experience.

Question
The Nursing Dept.Quite Bright
The Nursing Dept. has a new adviser that continues to make costly mistakes. Students pay way too much to come here for this amount of disorganization! I was not looking for much of a social scene, so this school was ideal. Extracurricular activities would be great if they were not made to cater to mostly dorm students. TERRIBLE class availability times! Some classes only have one scheduled time! Not many online courses as they claim! Easy entrance into the nursing program because so many students transfer out. The cost is climbing every year. This school really is about money, but if you have a problem with the school, you are ignored! SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!

Question
Buildings are poorly maintained.Quite BrightChemistry
Buildings are poorly maintained. Curtis Hall has leakage of sewage throughout the building. Residence Halls are infested with mice. Alumnae Hall has pieces of concrete falling off steps.

Administration and faculty do not seem to care that fewer and fewer students can be bothered to pay $28,000 for a pathetically poor education. Incoming freshman class is trending below 100 students per year. Most courses for the English major are taught only every three years.

Faculty are out and out rude. They are more interested in cliches like "women's leadership" and "global connectivity" than actually teaching the students anything. Any talented faculty quickly become discouraged and leave for greener pastures, leaving just the also-rans and never-weres.
