Temple University is a big enough University toQuite BrightHistory/Histories (art history/etc.)
Temple University is a big enough University to provide you with many new experiences. If you are willing to do the work then you will definetely have a fullfilling experience here. For example, I am studying abroad in the Dominican Republic next semester. The application process for this particular program was very rigorous. If you are willing to go the extra mile then you can fully take advantage of all the oppurtunities available at this school. This year it was rated the second most diverse campus in the country. I think it was also rated the fourth or fifth most connected campus in the country. The computer services personnel are very knowledgable and helpful. There services are included in the tuition so make sure to call them whenever you have the slightest problem with your computer because you are already paying for their help. The "urban" party scene is very big here. There are lots of hip hop and reggae parties. Some are hosted by the schools and others are house and apartment parties. There is a big drinking scene here but a very large percentage of students choose not to drink. People won't call others losers if they do not drink. If you are afraid of black people then do not come here. I love the fact that it seems like one out of every four Temple students is black. The university is also located in a predominately black neighborhood, and we are not isolated from the rest of Philadelphia. If you like diversity, educational oppurtunities, and new experiences then this is the schoool for you. If you want to be on a campus that is isolated from the surrounding community and with a homogenous student population then go somewhere else.

Question
This is my third year at Temple andQuite BrightChemistry
This is my third year at Temple and throughout the years I've been at TU they have really shown an interest in trying to create activities and bring students back to Temple. They have just finished an addition on the student center including a night club, movie theater, lounge including a starbucks, game rooms and much much more. They are also building apartments and a mall on Broad street that will be temple owned thats right a University sponsored Mall! Many people comment on the area that Temple is located in but looking at the history of this country and how they try to hide poverty creating ficticious facades I know for a fact that if Temple wasn't where it was that area would be deprived further. Temple has done and will continue to do so much for the area and with the new projects I cannot even begin to imagine the possiblities. Temple is the place to be the concerts at the Liacourus Center kicks ASS! (on the campus) can't wait for Gwen Stephani and the Black Eyed Peas front row tickets only no more then 60 bucks for studnets thats all i have to say!

Question
I love Temple because it is incredibly diverseBrightNursing
I love Temple because it is incredibly diverse and there is so much to do on campus. Many people give Temple a bad reputation but I think Temple is improving more and more every year that goes by. I wouldn't want to be at another college because I am extremely statisfied with the level of competitiveness (especially in the pre-nursing program) and the type of work that I am given. I would highly recommend Temple for people that want a diverse environment and opportunities to learn more about different people.
