Positive Negative Neutral Advice
This school does NOTAverageArt & Design Department
This school does NOT care about the art department and constantly leaves their students out to dry resulting in postponed graduation dates. their art department in general isn't the best so if you want to pursue art don't go here, it's too late for me.

Question
Financial aid generally gets paid out a weekQuite BrightHistory/Histories (art history/etc.)
Financial aid generally gets paid out a week after the semester starts so by the time books are paid and delivered you are 2 weeks behind. The professors online don't post which books are needed or the syllabus until usually a week after the semester starts. They just don't give a $%#$. Security is horrible. Rapes are common. I have received an explicit picture of genitalia on an official school "blackboard".

UTA is ghetto. It's embarrassing. look at the salaries of deans. the school is a joke.ESPECIALLY IF YOU WILL GO INTO LOAN DEBT FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE FOR THIS LOW QUALITY EXPERIENCE!!!!!!

Question
When I was in computer science my academicNot so brightBiology
When I was in computer science my academic advisor spoke to me condescendingly. When I switched to a biology major and was forced to see my advisor for a hold, he gave me no help and when I pushed him for his helpful opinion about a class I needed to take in the summer he basically told me to just sit and wait and hope the class is available. I e-mailed another university who actually provided me with a helpful alternative. The fact that I had to go to a different school to get help, just demonstrated how ill-informed they are. Also, financial aid gave me two different answers to the same questions which then cost me my financial aid. I was not happy.
