Like any other regionally accredited school, I needed a regionally accredited bachelers degree and work experience in addition to demonstrating my communication ablities while being interviewed. I chose UOP because I found this school just as good as any other college based on is accreditation. From reading reviews of top tier and other popular colleges, they all have basically the same issues of positive and negative attributes. Some may say negative things about Univ. of Phoenix, but I found negative and even serious issues with so-called ivy league and other top tier colleges in reference to student/faculty relations; poor academic quality and faculty handing out easy grades or students who showed marginal interest in their curriculum, but were more interested in the social life that exists at these schools. UOP on the other hand is a place that does not have the party and social life that exists at schools that cater to younger students, but fosters an environment of work ethics and professional expectations. Students who usually complain against UOP are those who were either failing or lagging behind in their course work and who have become disgruntled at their own lack of competence, but instead of holding themselves responsible, they proceed to attack the school. UOP is highly regarded in most cases and it is the type of school that does not baby sit the student, but holds the student accountable to a high degree of excellence.

Application, "interview", pay application fee. Know that the interview is really just RAMOPSR. That is the acronym for a process that asks you to reveal your motivation for attending college so that if you shop other schools or decide not to attend, they can find your "pain" and heal it with the promise of education, using your words (saved in a database called galaxy) to manipulate you, thereby closing the sale. It's a competitive market. If you have a diploma or ged and the application fee, you're in. Unfortuntately, not everyone takes their education as seriously as the professional that returns to school and you'll be required to work in groups and not always able to pick your team mates. You've officially been warned.
