At any large universityQuite BrightPolitical Science
At any large university - like NCSU - students can get the education they want to. If you want a quality education, take rigorous classes - not fluff. Make sure you read professor reviews. Major in something serious. Use your time to get involved in thoughtful extracurricular activities.

Question
Will keep this short.BrightElectrical Engineering
Will keep this short. From Raleigh. Returned from Iraq summer 04'. NCSU seemed like a good choice for EE. NCSU accepted bowling from Wake Tech as PE credit, but not Marine Corps Physical Fitness. I should say that again... NCSU accepts federal monies for their ROTC program, but obviously choses to neglect US Veterans. UNCC was a much better choice. I grad'd in 3 years, with honors, VP of my fraternity, in 3 honors societies, was a student teacher, and accepted a great job right after graduation. Recently sat in a meeting where an NCSU EE graduate asked what a polarity mark was???!!!!! Re-read that last sentence and consider what skills you want to learn to succede in the market place.

Question
My first two years I was an engineeringBrightElectrical Engineering
My first two years I was an engineering major. The culture was competitive and challenging, but I could see that life in front of a computer screen was not what I wanted. However, my parents are engineers and they really pressed me all my life to be an engineer and State has very high ranking for the quality of its engineering program, but I could see that I wasn’t going to be happy. I want to save the world and I don’t see engineering helping. One of my dorm friends is a forestry major. He had lots of good stories about what was going on, on the other side of the tracks (ugly railroad tracks split the campus into north and south). After a lot of thought I transferred into forestry. I cannot believe all the opportunities that forestry offers. It is like an hidden oasis in the middle of the desert that only the lucky find.
