I am a Fashion Merchandising major, and the strong program at Marist was one of my top reasons as to why I decided to attend the college. The program is competitive to get into, which allowed me to increase my drive to be accepted into the fashion program. All of the professors for the Fashion Program are helpful and willing to guide you in the direction of your desired future. They take the time to sit down with you and talk about what it is you are looking to accomplish in your future.

I love Marist, the campus, the faculty, and the students. I just finished my sophomore year for the summer and I can not wait to go back. I became really close with the students in my major and even outside of my major! The teachers are approachable and are willing to help you no matter what. There is so much to do on campus and off campus. We are a school that is a community field school and all come together. If it is at a sporting event, academic event or time of need we come together and we are filled with so much togetherness.

Marist is a great school with a strong sense of community. The academic programs are very good but rather basic. It's all very "by the book": a good standard education. There are countless opportunities to get involved and be part of something bigger than yourself. If you're a well rounded, career-driven, friendly person, then Marist would be a good fit for you!
