The University at Buffalo is a wonderful schoolSuper BrilliantChemistry
The University at Buffalo is a wonderful school as long as you take advantage of all the opportunities that are offered. Being a large research institution, there are countless internships and undergraduate research positions available. The education received relies entirely on the effort put in. In other words, going through the motions will result in a degree from a state university, but hard work and dedication result in degrees with a thesis, undergraduate research experience, competitive fellowships etc.

I loved this school!Quite BrightLinguistics
I loved this school! It's probably not for everyone if you're looking for small classes for gen eds, but once you get into your major all your classes are small and specific. I don't know why people are complaining about UB because I had to live with my parents the whole time to afford college and I not only had a wonderful academic experience but a great time socializing on campus even though I never lived there! If you just have complaints you should have transferred your first year, there's so many other colleges in Buffalo you could have gone to so get over it. I also love their study abroad program, spending a semester in Italy was one of the greatest experiences in my life! And the tuition is so affordable for the quality education you're getting, it's a really good deal.
