If you are thinking about going here, pleaseQuite BrightOther
If you are thinking about going here, please run the other way. You are just a number here, in a sea of students. Personalized attention from the faculty or administration is a figment of your imagination. Parking, after paying 200$ for a parking pass, is a problem every day. Teachers aren't great at all. Not much to do off campus.

Complete Bull-sh_t of a program. No help in job placement. The little knowledge I got from going there isn't enough to get a real job. I'm 17.5K in debt, Kent State keeps calling asking for money from Alumni...how about KSU pays off my debt. They don't care about you just your money. Stay away from this place.KSU DIDN'T HELP ME IT RUINED MY LIFE!!!

Question
If you don't live ten minutes away fromSuper BrilliantOther
If you don't live ten minutes away from Kent State DO NOT COME HERE. It is 5% out of state and 95% in state. Most students that come here, already have a group if friends to hang out with before they even set foot on the campus. They will be nice to you,but they're not interested in being your friend. You will feel like you are the new kid in high school.

The professors are pretty decent. I majored in fashion merchandising and my classmates were all very snooty. They all thought they were so stylish, when they all looked exactly the same. Nice to know you look at the Urban Outfitters catalog sweetheart.

This school is the epitome of a suitcase school. I myself had been going home every weekend so I thought I'd give it chance and stay one weekend, GHOST TOWN, let me tell you!

Oh, do you like to party? If so, DON'T COME HERE. There are absolutely no parties on campus. I attended one HHAHAHAHA, I'm being very generous even calling it a party. I walk in and some obnoxious beef cake says:"Hey what's cooking good looking, come in and drink some beer!" Well on top of that moronic insulting comment there were a total of 3 cans of light generic beer at the party, along with obnoxious rap music being blasted. I left within 15 minutes.

Do you enjoy walking? Well if so Kent is the place for you! I think it just happens to be the only place in Ohio with TONS of hills. The campus, you have to walk EVERYWHERE. The bus service sucks and just looking at the bus's makes me feel like I'm going to get violated and kidnapped.

Kent State completely babies their freshman. My classes in High school were more challenging then they are here.Let's see what else...O yes I have a condition that requires me to take medicine daily. Well the Kent on campus pharmacy DOESN'T CARRY MY MEDICATION. I have to go off campus to refill my prescription and considering I'm a freshman that involves me walking TWO miles to my car to drive, then sit and wait for my prescription to be filled. In conclusion! Don't come here unless you live ten minutes away. Even if you do though, I'm sure you'll still have you're complaints about the universality. Before I came here when I told someone I would be attending Kent State they congratulated me on getting into such a prestigious institute. There is nothing prestigious about Kent. My classmates are moronic jerks. O and there is no school spirit here. A total of 12 people out of the 20,000 that attend here, attend the footballs games. Go golden flashes...NOT! What is a Golden Flash anyway?
