I transferred here to resume my undergraduate educationQuite BrightArchitecture
I transferred here to resume my undergraduate education after a few years off and can't believe what an absolute waste of time it has been. My mom is on the faculty and graduated from here and told me not to go here. Now I know why: almost every endeavor is covered with red tape; the classes are boring and the professors are terrible and treat you like you're 12. The social atmosphere is like high school, except if you went to a competitive high school its probably more immature. Forget about your individuality when you walk in the door, and forget about connecting with students or faculty. This place is hardly even worthy of being considered a college. Unless you want some super-specialized degree that will be useless if you want to pursue something else after graduation, don't come here.

Question
Not a good expirence.Quite BrightAerospace Engineering
Not a good expirence. I have spent one semster at Kent and am completely dreading going back. I'm planning on leaving by next fall. They will give you a lot of money to come but honestly not enough to make you want to come back. Kent is probably the most boring place on earth. There is nothing to do except drink. Not a place to live if you don't party. They make the outside of campus look decent but do not maintain the housing. I regret going to Kent. Worest Expiernce in my life.

Question
Professors are great!Quite BrightPsychology
Professors are great! Very knowledgeable and interesting, with reasonable expectations! The social scene is very clique-oriented, however. If you don't portray yourself a party animal, artsy kid, athlete, nerd, or prep you're going to have trouble finding friends. As famously liberal as KSU is, more people are unyieldingly conservative (and argumentative about it) than you might think. Male masculinity (e.g. aggressiveness, intentionally attempted portrayal of a higher social status) is played up really big by the college kids here. Most of the girls are snooty. A minority of students (especially in the lower class standings) actually care about education, going to class, or getting good grades. Bar scene is fairly decent; fun, if you're old enough.
