Positive Negative Neutral Advice
It's a pretty weak school, i only wentFinance
It's a pretty weak school, i only went bc they gave me an academic scholarship. the classes aren't great, they aren't bad either. the real problem is the school's atmosphere. it's an odd mix... the college itself thinks it is impressive, but it's still only known as where teh steelers practice for teh summers. it is very overpriced, and the RA-Monk's are always down your back. the rest of teh campus is split between socially awkward kids who bond together (and that's nice)- and they tend to look down on teh second group... the hollister wearing rich kid douchebags, who even though i lived with them, are unbearable. but i'd rather drink a beer and talk to a cute girl than spin a 12 sided dice on a friday night. the school has no prescence beyond it's own borders, no one in pittsburgh cares about the school. a girl who i graduated with was bagging grocercies in the city. save some money, go to a bigger school- find yourself, have fun, pay some attention, and a larger school will be better regarded in the long run.

Question
If I had to go to college forQuite BrightBiology
If I had to go to college for 4 years again, I would definitly come back to SVC. I can't believe that some people don't like it here. Too many kids only enjoy college for the parties, which are a huge waste of time and money. Find yourself a good group of people who are on the same intellectual level as you are, and you'll do amazing here and someday all those kids who partied their days away in college will pick up your trash. SVC is a wonderful school and they really try to do a good job in educating and housing students and keeping them happy. But some are just ungrateful and expect their residence hall to be the Hilton, which is ridiculous. If you are down to earth, a genuinely respectful person, and want to go to college because of academic reasons, then this is the college for you.

Question
Hopefully this advice can help answer questions thatAverageBusiness - Management and Administration
Hopefully this advice can help answer questions that future students might have. Plain and simple, if you are strictly looking for a good education (4 years of absolutely nothing but learning and planning for your future) then you should come here. Now if you are the type of person who needs to have fun in their life, then please do not come here because there is nothing to do any day or night of the week. You will be lucky to find a room to hang out in, not to mention the whole security staff is completely strict and power hungry. My advice to any student would be to look into other schools and if you can not find a school that has as good as an education then come here, but if you find a school with an equal education then I suggest to go there so that you dont kill yourself of boredom.
