DO NOT ATTEND THIS SCHOOL.Quite BrightCommunications
DO NOT ATTEND THIS SCHOOL. I'm in my sophomore year and this school is a complete joke. Academics require no work. I had a 3.3 GPA in high school and I have a 4.0 here.

The social life is also completely lacking, Sure, there are random dorm room parties of like 6 people now and then. There are no significant gatherings for social life and RAs take every chance they get to stop you from making noise. Nothing exciting happens on campus. There is a group called CEN that puts on campus events. Most of these events are on friday nights at 8 and are usually some crappy youtube star or a magician (what are we 12?). Just shows you what your tuition goes to.I'm currently transferring schools because this university is a joke. A waste of money (did I mention it is expensive?). Save yourself some time and trouble and completely skip this school in your school searching.

Question
First off: College is what you make ofQuite BrightBiology
First off: College is what you make of it!!! So this is an opinion its not objective at all.
If your rich and you want to get a college degree with no passion and you just like fitting in instead of being interestingly individual this is the place, you can act like your in highschool and get through with a sub-par education UNLESS you are in Architecture! Architecture program is engaging and difficult.

Location: Roger williams University is in Bristol RI and believe me its beautiful! but there is NOTHING TO DO without a car. and the RIPTA bus is very bad, I'm from metro Boston so I ride the T all the time this bus is horrible the RIPTA smells, and the people are terrifying. Getting off campus is difficult and annoying without a car.

Professors/Academics: The professors are AVERAGE Architecture is excellent, that is probably their best but anything else is sub-par, the professors are not challenging and some are too nice and difficult to work with. The Math department is really really BAD and the science is catered around Marine Science so if your into Marine Science your fine but premed, biomedical stuff its awful. English and humanities are taught by totally inconsistent teachers but nothing different than most colleges. Besides the Math department its not a bad school, just really fake and not passionate about academics.

Social life: This is where Roger williams suffers, the kids are cliquy, cliche, predictable and unintelligent mostly. The smart ones are really easy to pick out because everyone else is lacking in intelligence. The girls are EXTREMELY GOOD LOOKING... man but they are cliche and only date the classic douche with a chinstrap beard and a backwards fitted hat. so unspontaneous no one here wants to take a chance. Like if one of them was reading this they'd probably be like "dude ill fight you" thats how childish they are. If you find the right people your fine but other than that good luck.BTW: The campus looks amazing!! and the food is great!! so if you can afford it and thats the most important thing to you then come here, but if you have a chance to go somewhere better GO!

Question
I have given this school and the peopleBrightArchitecture
I have given this school and the people here many chances. However, I have decided to transfer. People here are very cliquey, extremely close- minded and negative. It seems like nobody wants to be here. There is no school spirit. Good people are few are far between. There is very little diversity. Many people are rich and stuck up and act like they are still a freshman in high school.

If you go into architecture, it is much more different from any other major. It is very intense and everyone in architecture groups together. It was a good kind of challenging.

There is not much to do here on the weekends. The surrounding town doesnt have much to do. It is fun to go into the city which is 40 minutes away, however.

Faculty is pretty helpful and nice. I have had mostly very good professors and I would say that that is the one positives here. Needless to say, I have decided to transfer after giving this place a fair trial.
