Question
I was accepted to UVA, Wake Forest, WilliamSuper BrilliantBiology
I was accepted to UVA, Wake Forest, William and Mary and JMU but I came here instead. I wasn;t sure if a small school was really for me, but I took a chance and enrolled. I absolutely love every second I'm here (during the breaks, I can't wait to come back). It's so nice to be in an environment where you always know at least one person no matter where you go (but there are still new people to meet). The campus is the most beautiful out of all the schools I visited and the teachers are incredible. I accidentally slept through part of an exam one time, and the teacher called my room to wake me up. The university of Richmond is incredible and with the ongoing renovations to the science center, gym, business school, and dorms, it's only getting better.

Question
Attending the University of Richmond guarantees you oneQuite BrightPreMed and Medical
Attending the University of Richmond guarantees you one thing – a great education. Beyond that, student’s experiences here differ greatly. The people are mostly likeable, but very rich, conservative, white and conformist. If these are not your kind of people you should consider looking elsewhere. I do like my classes, but it is sometimes hard to register for the classes you want. Also, Richmond’s pre-med program isn’t the best but they are currently taking steps to remedy this. I would say that, as a general rule of thumb, if you visit and get good vibes you will love it here. Because of the homogeneity of the student body, however, if you don’t fit in, you will have a very hard time.

The social scene at Richmond, which revolves around the frats, is decent. If you like variety in what you do on the weekends this might not be the place for you. But if you enjoy a good game of beer pong and lodge parties you will probably have a good time.

Think hard before you decide to come to U of R. There’s a chance you could have the time of your life here and get a great education to boot. But if you do come, be prepared to work hard. Also be aware that Richmond isn’t for everyone. If you are liberal, or consider yourself more of an individualistic, free-thinker type you will probably find this place suffocating.
