Question
The University of Richmond helped me to beChemistry
The University of Richmond helped me to be able to have my choice of graduate programs, and the classes that I took prepared me very well. UR provides academic quality that is second to none with small classes, a huge emphasis on undergraduate research, and professors that are knowledgeable and approachable. You cannot find a university that better combines the accessibility of a small school with the resources and opportunities of a larger institution. The school is academically very challenging, but not to the extent that students become one-dimensional. The campus is also beautiful and welcoming, and many major facilities are brand new or recently updated. Alumni do very well in the job market and get into all of the top graduate programs.

Question
The University of Richmond is academically superb withBrightHistory/Histories (art history/etc.)
The University of Richmond is academically superb with excellent programs in nearly every field. Being a wealthy school there are abundant resources for research and the facilities are top notch and aesthetically pleasing. If you are in the sciences you are almost guaranteed opportunities for small group research with faculty and possibly a well-paying summer job. The faculty are very knowledgeable and organized and want to help you. This school would nearly be my dream school were it not for the extreme lack of cultural diversity and closemindedness of the majority of students. Most students are concerned with fashion and economic success; rarely will you see anyone who dresses or acts differently.
