Kalamazoo College

K was an incredible school from a character-building perspective. The focus on skills outside your major (the quintessential Liberal Arts experience) has served me in droves since I graduated.

It gave me a head-start on my colleagues as a recent graduate in the late-90s. When we needed someone to write a white paper, I was the best at it because I'd taken writing classes through college. When we needed someone to speak publically at a confrence, same thing.I credit K College, and the K-Plan's broad-based approach to education, for much of my success.

I wanted to transfer for most of my freshman year because I wasn't invested in a college experience- I was very much still stuck in my hometown and the life I had before I came to K. This year I've opened up to Kalamazoo College and I love it dearly. Class is the best part of the day to me, I have met a lot of like-minded people whom I considered friends, and I'm very satisfied with my life here. I cannot praise Kalamazoo College enough.

The globalization of business makes it an imperative to have international experience. Kalamazoo College has been providing this experience longer and does it better then any other school. It is an education which pays a lifetime worth of dividends. What's more, "K" makes the journey a blast!
