The University of Richmond is a small, beautiful campus where, in general, the classes are more personal and the professors will listen to you if you have concerns. But overall, the student body is very homogeneous; there is no diversity and nothing to do. If you don't have a car, you are pretty much bored to death. If you like being very different, this isn't the place for you.

The Univeristy is great academically, one of the best in the country, though quite underrated due to the small size. Most students are white and from Virginia or other eastern states. It is not the most diverse university, but is improving. There are many valuable resources such as the academic skills center, speech center, and writing center. I have met my share of snooty racist people, but these people are everywhere and have very little impact on my experience here. Parties are good beginning Thursday night if you are into drinking and if you are white to be quite honest. Otherwise, it gets old and boring, but once you find your group of friends, its ALWAYS gonna be quite fun.
